I've created a new artwork for mothers/parents who have lost their children. May your angel be with you, always. ♡ flow

From 2019

The other day a young woman reached out to me, asking if I could draw something for her because she lost her child.

I was deeply touched by what I imagine to be the most tragic thing a living being can experience, seeing your child die.

The artwork I made shows a mother kissing the little angel goodbye before it flies up to the heavens.

I made it in one connected line to express the connection between the mother and the child and the entire piece is shaped a bit like an anatomical heart, reminding us of our life on Earth and to keep on living while our heart keeps on beating.

After sharing this piece anonymously online, so many people reached out to me with similar stories they experienced themselves or their loved ones.

That's why I've decided to make high-resolution files of this artwork available for free under creative commons (i.e. no commercial use allowed). You can download it, print it, remix it, do with it what you feel is the right thing to do.
