I got to spend a week in the Mediterranean where the sea and waves inspired me to create this artwork.

And I shared it on my Instagram where it received a lot of love. Thanks!

In the last days, however, heavy heavy rainfall set my home country Austria under water. Floods are devastating towns and families. This natural disaster changed the artwork for me.

That’s why I decided to turn this artwork into a limited-edition print and donate a part of the sales to a local organization who engages in rebuilding what was lost.

I also recently read Arnold Schwarzenegger‘s book „Be Useful“ which deepened my conviction to use my art and voice for purposes bigger than myself.

Together we can get through this and get up again!

PS: climate change is real, people! This is nature shouting. Nature will always find a balance, and nature doesn’t need humans (just look at other planets), but we need nature! That’s why we need to get our shit together, impose drastic CO2 taxes, invest in sustainable practices and hold big corporations accountable. Elections are coming up in many countries, so vote accordingly (so that our children and theirs can still live safely and happily on Earth).
